Thank you to our PTA for purchasing a new bench for our playground! We are so appreciative of all that they do for our building!

We want to give a shout out of thanks to two amazing Ridgely families! These ladies have been working around the clock getting donations for our weekend food bags. We currently send home food over the weekends for families that need a little extra. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Ms. Hay if you are interested in receiving a weekend food bag.

Saturday, November 16th Registration 8:00 a.m. Program runs 8:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. For over 16 years, the EAA Conference has supported families, educators, and professionals to empower students with exceptionalities. This year, we're back in person on Saturday, November 16th at Lanphier High School! We’re excited to welcome social media influencer Jordan Toma, author of I’m Just a Kid with an IEP, as our keynote speaker! 🙌 His inspiring journey will set the tone for a day filled with practical insights and strategies to support our students. 💡 Breakout sessions cover key topics like Autism, ADHD, transition services, and long-term planning. District 186 Families, We are excited to see our students back in school tomorrow morning! Please check your e-mail ! We kindly request your support as parents and guardians in reviewing the cell phone policy with your students. Together, we can ensure a learning environment with minimal distractions. The Keep Kids in School Coalition will be offering physicals and immunizations for District 186 students on Wednesday, August 7th at the Sangamon County Department of Public Health. Sign-in hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. No appointment needed. The clinic will only serve District 186 students who are entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade and those who are new to Illinois who must provide a current physical exam and immunization record. All 12th grade students must provide proof of having received a dose of the meningococcal vaccine on or after their 16th birthday. The legal parent or guardian must accompany their child. No sports physicals will be offered. Thank you!
